XR Terra (a Glimpse Group subsidiary) is a leader in augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) training and professional upskilling. We provide market-driven bootcamps in close collaboration with XR experts, offering intensive bootcamps for Developers and Designers looking to upskill and become leaders in the XR field.
XR Terra was founded in Boston, Massachusetts, in 2019 by Hakan Satiroglu and Janet Kang. We have worked with students in various AR/VR journey stages, from novice to career professionals looking to delve further into the XR Industry to corporate training.
We are looking for XR professionals who are passionate about educating the next generation of XR developers and designers.
This is the perfect opportunity for individuals looking for part-time work (primarily in the evenings (EST)) who are passionate about educating others.
The Class Mentor (Teaching Assistant) is responsible for all the behind-the-scenes details of our HS Program. This includes, but is not limited to: recording class sessions on their computer, maintaining and updating housekeeping slides, keeping attendance, occasionally grading student projects, monitoring class engagement, monitoring the class Discord, and most importantly, aiding students with their projects outside of class time. The Class Mentor reports to the instructor and Curriculum Manager.
The HS Program (4 weeks) utilizes Unity, Vuforia, and various 3D, UX, and 2D design tools to take students through modularized learning elements to build toward a capstone AR project.

REQUIREMENTS
Examples of XR or 3D Unity Projects
Strong interest in Unity and/or XR Prototyping
Teaching experience
A commitment to good student experiences
High level of professionalism
PREFERRED
Experience using version control (Git/GitHub)
Experience working with 3D modeling and 2D Asset design tools
Experience using Vuforia
